Favorite Fashion

Hi, I am Natan. I am a student in Widya Mandala Catholic University. Now, I am going to tell you about my favourite style.

I often wear jeans and a shirt when I go to campus. I really like them. They are casual and easy to wear. Especially for this summer, I am going to sweat if I wear too many shirts.

Besides denim, sometimes I wear colorful jeans too. I prefer the color of the jeans which are matches with the shirt that I wear. For example, if I wear white T-shirt and I am not gonna wear jeans with a green color.

This picture shows my favorite style especially it is about David Beckham because all of his outfits always become my favorite fashion. He has a lot of tattoos which are attract my attention of fashion. So, as the words that I have describe here, casual and fashionable always become my favorite fashion.





 

The Postcard

Dear Osa,

I went to Beijing on vacation. Do you know where Beijing is ? It’s in China. It’s a famous city and they mostly speak Chinese. We went to a restaurant where Jackie Chan and Andy Lau had been there. The food was taste great also the waiters were nice. I bought one of the favorite foods for a dinner. Later, we took a trip to one of the famous beaches there. It was a great panorama, but we missed the sunset because I had to go back early.

Assigment III : Describing My Friend

Hello, friends. Today i’m going to tell you about my best friend.

People can’t live without music. Music changes everything in our mood whether it’s happy or even sad. Well, that’s what i feel when i have a friend who stay with me in every kind of situation. He listen every story of my life, lift me up when i’m down and always be one of my wise advicer. His name is Aldi. We’ve known each other since we’re in junior high school. His hobbies is collect toys such as miniature car or even a robot. His house is near with my house. Sometimes, when I come back early from college I visit his house. Eventhough, his hobbies may so different than me but he is kind of loyal person.

Anyway, 10 years we’ve been built our friendship but we’re always stick together. If you have a friend like him, i guarantee you won’t be dissapointed. I thank God for He gave me a friend like him. These days it’s hard for me to find a loyal person like him. To me, it’s better have one loyal friend rather than a lot of friends who come only when they need me. Good things when you have a real friend is you never stop to remember all the memories that you have with your friend either it’s happy or sad and that always makes me learn a lot about friendship. So, my wishes to everyone is the older you grow up, the wise you become. Have a lot friends is fine but be wise to pick one of them as the person you trust.

Assignment 2 - Hometown

Hello friends, today i would like to share my hometown.

Surabaya is one of the big city in Indonesia, well-known as The City Of Hero. Many people from a lot of province come here to study or even to get a job. Big building almost everywhere, long trafic but not long as Jakarta and this place has a story that filled one of the history of the glory of Indonesia. Lucky me, i was born here. Born and raised here by my parents is one of great things to me. My grandma, granpa, brother and cousin, they are all here. I am so happy to live with my big family in the same town.

Well, maybe the culture of Surabaya not much as Jogjakarta but if we compared with any other capital city in Indonesia, this city has a large of population either of industry city or even education. This year is become one of the big changes in Surabaya because a lot of appartment has built and the increase of visitor from other country. Some of the famous things in Surabaya are the local people language and the weather. Surabaya is a hot city either it’s about the weather or the popularity. I thought foreigner loves hot weather but when they come here, they agree if this city has a hot weather. Another thing abot the popularity is the expression, the grammar of Surabaya is really famous here eventhough it sounds strange but many city using this kind of expression.

So, that’s all about my hometown. I hope this city always growing up to be a better city which provides a better living to all people. Viva Surabaya.

My Funny Story

Well, today i would like to share my funny experience.

One year ago, when i was sitting at the Church on Sunday night and listening to preach who is delivering some speech. I was getting cold by the air conditioner right in my left side. The temperature of the air conditioner was too cold. Usually, when i get cold, i always go to toilet to take a pee. Unfortunately, i'm a shy person. It took a lot of thought to pass people who sat in the back. That time was beyond my expectation. I can't even hold myself to take a pee like usually. So, i walked fast with my head down and eyes looking straight down to floor. I was walking so fast until i didn't realize that there is a big plasma TV right in front of my head. Suddenly, there is a feeling of hit the continued with hurt. Yeah, silly me. I hit the TV so hard. I was too shame of what was happened because people staring at me and with responds like ,"Oh, Dear. Are you okay?". Honnestly, they gave a good respond but i was too shame. So, i didn;t go to toilet. I was going straight and fast to motorcycle park. Then, i went home so quick with a thought of shame and funny at the same time. Oh, what a crazy day?

Hi, everybody.
WelI,  I've just finished read this 10 points of netiquette . The whole point there was the new information for me. According to the page I have read, here are the four new information that I have learned.

What is Netiquette?
Based from the word "etiquette" means the forms required by good breeding or prescribed by authority to be required in social or official life. In other words, Netiquette is a set of rules for behaving properly online.
So, in my opinion Netiquette is a way of communication through network.

There are several ways in Netiquette that rules the situation in cyberspace,

1. Respect other people's privacy
    Life without a privacy would be feel disturbing and uncomfortable. Well, the reality is the same in the Netiquette. You'd never dream of going through your colleagues' desk drawers. So, naturally you wouldn't read their email either. However, the expectation wasn't goes same as the reality. Because a lot of people do that, they read their colleagues email. As the fact, in 1993 tells that a highly regarded foreign correspondent in the Moscow bureau of the Los Angeles Times was caught reading his coworkers' email. This meaning that there should be a privacy even if you're a boss. It doesn't mean if you have a great position, you can do whatever you want. So, i think respect is all the matter about here.

2. Don't abuse your power
    This part is connected with the first part. So, when we're talk about power, we're talk about humilty. How come you if you can respect people but you abuse your power? That's doesn't make sense. Respect and humilty can't be separate. Same thing goes in Netiquette, knowing more than others, or having more power than they do, does not give you the right to take advantage of them. So, use your power to lift up each other.

3. Be forgiving of other people's mistakes
    When we learn how to walk, we can't just walk without a fall or even run so quick like an adult. There is a time for us to fall but also there is a time to learn how to not fall again. Same thing goes in cyberspace. There are people who is a network newbie. We was in their kind of level. So, when someone make a mistakes. We have to correct them politely because having good manners doesn't mean we can correct everyone else. So, try to tell them why they have to fix the mistakes. How we respond to them is more important rather than their mistakes. Mistakes happened to guide you not to define you.
